We are pleased to announce that the Second Western Balkans Digital Summit (#WBDS) will be held on 4 th and 5 th of April 2019, at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade.

This important event will gather ministers responsible for the information society and digital agenda of the Western Balkans partners and the EU, as well as representatives of the European Commission, representatives of regional and global IT industries and economies, with the aim of presenting the best results of digital transformation, as well as exchanging ideas and further proposals for the improvement of the ICT sector in this part of Europe.

The Digital Summit is organized by the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Office of Information Technologies and Electronic Administration of the Government of Serbia and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, with support from the Regional Cooperation Council and the line ministries of the other five economies of the Western Balkans.

The WB Digital Summit will feature parallel discussions on three stages at the Palace of Serbia and will cover numerous topics on the digital transformation of the economy and society and the possible application of exciting new solutions, the use of digital skills and the introduction of new programs in education, also covering the most recent developments in the field of telecommunications, the application of new technologies in banking operations, as well as regional cooperation in the field of security and networking and other interesting topics aimed at furthering the Digital Agenda in the Western Balkans.

During the Summit, the best IT companies in the region and promising new start-ups will have the opportunity to present their products and innovative solutions within the Expo and Tech Showcase segment of the Summit, which will be held at both levels of the Palace of Serbia.
