We are pleased to inform you that the National Museum of Šumadija and the City of Kragujevac, with the support of the national committee ICOM Serbia, are the organizers of the Annual Conference of the ICLCM Committee, which will be held on September 13–14, 2026 at the building of the Old Assembly in Kragujevac, Trg Topolivaca 2.

Today, the International Committee for Literary and Composers’ Museums (ICLCM) is one of 35 branches of the largest international museum network — ICOM, which has more than 300 members from 45 countries.

The theme of this year’s conference, “Museums of Writers and Composers: Spaces of Culture, Education, Research, and Intercultural Dialogue”, will include presentations addressing methods of: advancing the preservation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage; innovative ways of presenting and visualizing it; integrating it into digital platforms and social media; educational and enlightening missions; as well as attracting new audiences through digital storytelling.

At this year’s international gathering, renowned experts from 13 countries will participate: Russia, Azerbaijan, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Croatia, Italy, Germany, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Austria, Kyrgyzstan, Spain, and Serbia.
